My family and I just returned from a weekender out in Eastern Colorado. Yuma County has some great folks who spoil my family. We stayed on a farm, the kids rode horses and 4-wheelers in the rain, and they just ran around in general.

It was so nice to relax on the farm and enjoy being around these great people.

May the God of hope fill you with expectation today. “Aslan is on the move”.

I was reading in John this morning and was really challenged by Jesus’ words to his disciples. He reminded them to “Open your eyes and look at the fields. They are ripe for harvest.”

This entire chapter reminded me that there are people all around that are ready to trust Jesus with their life, all they need is someone to represent Christ to them.

These thoughts led me to pray and ask God to send people there way that will show the kindness of Jesus to them. People that will speak hope and offer acceptance. Maybe I was praying for you. Perhaps you are going to represent Jesus today to someone who has realized that something is missing in their life. Keep your eyes open and be willing to represent Christ when the opportunities present themselves.

This past weekend represented the last of my summer schedule. The camps and festivals are over for me, my kids start back to school and my life gets a little more normal. Oh, I will still be speaking, but more at retreats, schools, colleges, and churches for the next several months.

Summer was amazing. God touched hearts…mine included. I was both humbled and grateful that God spoke so clearly to so many. I got to be there to enjoy the moments, but God gets all of the glory.

I did walk away from the summer with two key scriptures that I think sum up what God is doing in my heart. Let me share them with you.

“For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” I Corinthians 1:18

“And He died for all that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for Him who died for them and was raised again.” II Corinthians 5:16

Hope you are doing well. Stay close to Jesus,

Sean

I know that a lot of people say it, but I really do have the best job in the world. Last weekend I had the opportunity to share the gospel with 20,000 people at a music festival in South Dakota. I love the opportunity to share the greatest story of all time with anyone, but there is something special when there are that many people involved. People trusted Jesus Christ for the first time.

Today, I am at a camp in South Dakota hanging out with 250 amazing people as we worship together and press into Jesus. Great stuff…don’t you wish you were me?

Tomorrow thought I get to go home to be with some more amazing people. My family awaits. As much as I love being out, I love going home even more.

If you pray for me, keep it up. It is working. God is using your prayers to soften hearts and people are responding to His message. I am in Michigan next week then Monterey California at Spirit West Coast on the weekend. Gonna tell some more people about Jesus.

On Monday we launched the new initiative to Broadcast Hope to Every Student. This is an exciting time for us as we are looking to share Christ with even more. By the end of the year, the goal is to extend our reach to over 20,000,000 weekly.

Check out the new videos at www.broadcasthope.com and consider being a part of the movement to rescue a generation.

While you are there, don’t forget to watch Hannah’s story. It is for people like Hannah that we are so focused on our mission.

Have a great week…off on a whirlwind tour of the US for the next 3 weeks.

Keegan is seven and yesterday he lost his first tooth.

He has been excited for several days about his three loose teeth and yesterday asked Mary to help pull one. Well, being the good mom that she is she tied his tooth to the doorknob but when Keegan got scared she promised to not shut the door. She was going to let him do it when he was ready. After several minutes of agonizing over whether or not it was going to hurt, he was about to back out, but asked if he should go get a wash cloth in case it started to bleed. Mary, being the sly and intelligent woman that she is said, “Yeah, why don’t you run to the bathroom to get that.” Without thinking, he took off, reached the end of the string and the tooth came right out. It was awesome.

Aren’t moms great?

I am excited. In just a few days we are going to launch something that will allow us to share Christ with literally millions more students (probably 8 million more).

I can’t tell you about it right now, but I will share more on Monday.

“See, I am about to do something in Israel (in our world) that will make the ears of everyone who hears it tingle.” I Samuel 3:11

Talk to you soon.
