Thank you for that. You know, sometimes as a Christian, we need to be reminded when we get in the mode of "fixing" and not "resting"... Lol, okay, not we. I. Me. I need to. God IS the ultimate answer. His love and faithfulness make rest possible. Thank you for putting that so bluntly. I needed to be reminded. Rock on!

Oh yeah!!! The amount of peace we can experience in our lives is determined by how much we trust God. Every time some problem comes along, if we focus on it, it gets bigger and will take control of our lives. When we focus on God we remember how awesome He is and that any problem is pretty small compared to Him. There is a cool song by Hillsong called "Evermore" which has a line; "When I look upon your name, circumstances fade away." When troubles try to overtake me I try to think through that line, then by looking upon His name(all that He is etc.), that problem may be hard for me but God has complete control of all situations. He is my ROCK!!!

I feel this way alot.
There are so many people hurting and sometimes we dont take a glance.
Just like the song "Give me your eyes" by Brandon Heath
If we ask to have God's eyes and to see what he sees.. How would we react?

This comment has spoken volumes to me as I have been battling a situation at my workplace. A co-worker whom I thought was a VERY good friend betrayed me any manipulative manners. I now have to find it in my heart to forgive her because Christ forgives me. I have been dealing with this for weeks now. My heart is so broken. I cannot believe she would deceive me the ways she has. I need to "get over it" and begin to pray for her so she can have healing and her soul can be led to
Christ. Please remember us in your prayers.

hi my name is Emily Smith I went to crave 2008 it was the last full day at camp and our pastors wife had fallen on the slip-n-slide and was hurt badly when I saw her laying on the ground looking hopeless I remembered you telling us that the power of prayer was amazing so I got every body together and we prayed for hours we got news before we went to dinner that she was going to half to stay over night so we prayed one last time before we all went to dinner and after we ate we got a text message saying that she was going to make it back that night

Now Jodey is completely normal like nothing happened and our whole youth group has been moved by the power of prayer thank you so much for making this a great year you’re so awesome and I hope to see you again at camp crave

Hey, Pastor Dunn :)
I was at your camp this last week (Unthinkable). I didn't get to tell you in person, but I wanted to let you know that each of your messages that you delivered were better than anything I'd ever heard before. You did an amazing job, and I'm really glad you were our speaker. This is the first time that I've walked away from a Christian gathering with more useful knowledge than I came to it with. Finally, somebody sees fit to teach us something beyond the basics! And you did it very well, too :)
Thank you so much for teaching at our camp, I definitely benefited, and I know that most of my friends did too!
Thanks,
~SnowPictsie
