Well for those who think that romanticize travel and comment jealously that I get to see fun places and enjoy the exotic surroundings, this is not the day to trade places. So far, I have been in the Tampa airport for 7 hours and won’t leave for another 3. What a way to spend a day. So, those who envy my lifestyle, understand it isn’t all fun and games.

I am not complaining though, I love my life and really enjoy what the Lord has called me to do. God blessed me with an amazing wife and great kids. And, I love what God is doing through Groundwire and just thrilled to be a part of it. I know that it is God who is opening these doors and touching lives. He could have chosen hundreds of people to do what he is doing, but I am amazed that he chose me.

So…anyway, my trip. I got to Charleston, SC on Sunday. Hung out with my friends Kevin and Betsy Kalman (along with their son Bobby) for a couple of days. With there help, we are working to place the GW spots on the top station there.

On Tuesday, I came to Tampa. Meetings. Had the opportunity to spend the evening with Bob and Karen Gaiser. They summer in Colorado and winter in St. Petersburg. What a set-up. They live on the 11th floor of a building that overlooks the gulf coast. Beautiful view. After a wonderful dinner I drifted off to sleep to the sound of the lapping waves.

Although I have spent several hours in the airport, it has been productive. Got around to some work that I have needed to do. Spent some time putting a skeleton on some devotional books I am working on with a publisher. Really excited about the opportunity to put out some 90-day spiritual helps. Pray that we put together daily readings that will challenge and encourage the reader. Oh, and if you have any specific questions you would like us to address in these books let me know.

Lastly, I am excited about taking Michael (5) on a trip to Spokane, WA this weekend. He is pretty pumped and I can’t wait to have him all to myself for a few days.

Hope all is well. Stay close to Jesus,

Sean
